In 1949, Martin Strauss started a one man camera repair shop. Today, Strauss Photo Technical Service is one of the nations largest service centers. Its 20,000 square-foot facility houses a 55 person staff providing repairs on a wide variety of professional and consumer products.

THE STRAUSS COMMITMENT

Martin Strauss, founder of the National Association of Photo Technicians, pioneered the concept of local service and monitored the integrity of member firms. Martin's son Steve has served as President of the Association, and now manages the service operation of SPTS.

The companies' growth is attributed to excellent repair quality, personal attention to customers, and fair prices.

NATIONWIDE SERVICE

SPTS provides repair and refurbishing support to manufacturers, retailers, institutions, professional and amateur consumers. The company receives over 125 items daily from all areas of the U.S. and frequently from overseas.

HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF

SPTS technicians are among the nation's finest. Extensive factory training assures quality service. Technicians attend approximately 25 manufacturer training sessions per year, providing in-depth technical knowledge and trouble-shooting skills. The average technician at SPTS has over 15 years of experience, and several have served over 25 years!

SPTS services more than 35,000 products each year. The high volume of work permits repair specialists to concentrate on particular models assuring the highest quality work.

LATEST TECHNOLOGY

SPTS continuously updates its test instrumentation used in diagnosis and calibration. This is the only way to assure total quality service for the sophisticated products on the market today.

An extensive parts inventory assures that repair delays are kept to a minimum. If a part is not in stock, SPTS has on-line capability via computer modem to check immediate availability.

Customer service personnel use a state-of-the-art computer tracking system which provides up to the minute status on every product in service, and keeps on line repair history for over 3 years.
